let airplanes circle overhead are to appear on a compilation collated by tiny little creatures, an off shoot of big scary monsters. the compilation titled 'every day you live, another way i die' features sllab, thedevilinmissmonroe, burning everest, enis keskin, the quiller memorandom and sober dave with more to be confirmed. the estimated time of arrival is autumn.

ctrlaltdelete are to feature on the first wolf party compilation, alongside fabulous foxes, peace burial at sea, tired irie, team, her name is calla, redjetson, youthmovie soundtrack strategies, south of france and alarm clocks. the pencilled release date is august 12th. we'll post more news when it comes our way.
skoud is out, to an extent and selling like electronic hot cakes, we are still working on distribution but for now you can get it from the shop. keep your eyes peeled for reviews in many a music
publication.

to mark the release of systems & drafts, and the launch of the label web site we thought we'd give you a treat. skoud has delved into the files and folders of his laptop, and found us a few tracks which we have made available for download, as well as the video for system 3 draft 2...MORE

welcome to the motivesounds recordings web site. so, who are we?

an independent label, aiming to promote original, alternative music, and develop a roster of bands/musicians who, with fresh outlooks are making a truly significant contribution. also, by promoting up and coming designers, we aim to establish a network of independent thinkers, whilst creating a dual platform on which cover design and music co-exist, and are intrinsically linked.

so, now the mission statement is over and done with, we can tell you that our first album release, skoud's "systems and drafts", is available now, and you can get yourself a copy by heading over to our newly designed online store. we are working on retail distribution, so for now it is only available online, and at gigs.
our next release, ctrlaltdelete's second ep, "mondegreens" is currently going to print and will be available soon after.

finally, let airplanes circle overhead (our third signing) have finished their album, and we are aiming to release it late july.
