after a year of delays, let airplanes circle overhead's first album is finally with us. the self titled album is available to buy from the shop now and will be available to buy from many record stores around the UK and further afield later in the year.
the album follows on from several self released ep's and with this recording let airplanes... have achieved a consistency and structural coherence, producing their best work to date. most often compared to constellation bands such as godspeed you! black emperor and silver mt zion, you can expect beautiful passages building up to aggressive eruptions of focused anger. like a call to arms by the sweetest army.
tour dates will be announced within the coming weeks for the band and reviews for all artists will be posted in the artists info section.

DISTRIBUTION

motivesounds recordings and the friendly peeps at shellshock/ backs records have agreed to an international distribution deal for all of motivesounds recordings releases. this means that from later in the year, our releases will show up in stores nationwide, and depending on demand from our international friends, other countries.

after 2 hard years of work, this is a giant leap forward for us, we are very excited to be working with such a great label. thanks to everyone who has bought a cd, and everyone who intends to.

SKOUD VIDEO PROBLEMS...AGAIN

the skoud video for system 3 draft 2 has been taken down again, it was pushing us 3 times over our bandwidth allowance which we just upgraded. we'll sort something out and try and get it back online soon. sorry.

press packs for skoud and ctrlaltdelete are being sent out for reviews each in over 150 publications. also, the first batch of motivesounds recordings t-shirts sold so well, we have decided to print another run, and make them available in the online store. we'll let you know once they arrive. keep watching this space for further developments.
we are still looking into a distribution deal, and we'll know more on this front soon

ctrlaltdelete's follow up to 2003's epONE is now available to buy from our shop. mondegreens repeats epONE's four track ep format, but improves on every area. the contrast between light and dark, quiet and loud is blurred and the three keys set themselves a new benchmark for overpowering, massive sound.
