THE WORLD IS A TRAGIC PLACE, BUT AT LEAST
WE HAVE RELEASE DATES
23.03.2006
finally, after months of delays, the end is in sight, and a release
date set for capulet's debut album ‘the world is a tragic
place, but there is grace all around us, so attend to the grace’.
the artwork is going to print this week, and the lp is scheduled
for release on the 3rd of july. barry smith has done
an amazing job on the artwork, and we feel sure you will be impressed
when you finally lay your sticky mits on a copy.
as if to give credence to overused public transport proverbs, manatees
self titled debut will be out just one week later, on july 10th.
the first reviews of both cds will start to crop up in a month or
so, and we will make tracks available to listen to on our myspace
page.
there will be one other release between now and then, but we’ll
talk about that at a later date…

UPHILL STRUGGLE
08.03.2006

ctrlaltdelete came clattering to an end after simon left, ben and
laura deciding to just get writing and forget about gigging for
a while. six months later, a few things have changed. robert holmkvist
has joined to make three again, there is a 'mountain' of all new
material and with it, a name change: Mt.
Mt. play their first gig this saturday (11th) at the brickyard,
and will be playing songs from their forthcoming debut album 'lethologica'.
the band are heading into the studio in june to record the cd, and
will hopefully be embarking on a national tour in august alongside
its release.
so, ctrlaltdelete are no more, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt
snap up a copy of their 'mondegreens' ep, we only have just over
100 left of the 500 limited print run, so get your orders in quick.
its worth at least a quid on ebay right now...

and they will be explaining what they sound like to anyone lucky
enough to come and see their first gig on friday 3rd february, at
