Sea Kelp

Sea Kelp is another way of saying Samuel Francis Cain, for the 23 year-old vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter is currently the sole participant in this, his fledgling solo project that is finding a home in Edinburgh.
This follows several years as a member of Grimsby-based post-rock quartet The Next Autumn Soundtrack and in the not-so-distant past
Hooray! Say The Roses, an alt-folk collective of Leeds. Indeed, along with original music, many pieces featured in these previous projects are in line for a
Sea Kelp reimagining, albeit with a fresh perspective, and treated to more luxuriant attention.
After agreeing to work with
Motive Sounds in the summer of 2007,
Sea Kelp is currently working on as yet unreleased material which will most likely see the light of day in the spring (or summer) of this year, around which time the project will begin performing shows.
